Tenant Hell | Calif Dream Act Repeal Fails To Get Off The Ground Assemblyman Tim Donnelly announced that the referendum to repeal AB 131 which takes effect in January 2013 failed to gather the required 504,760 valid signatures to put it to the voters. By the deadline they had obtained 447,514 signatures, plus about 2K more after the deadline. He and his supporters had hoped to gather 800K signatures to allow for some signatures being invalidated. They are considering trying again, only this time thru the initiative process. |
