have an old laptop that I want to max out the ram in. Looking for either 1gb or 1 512mb stick of pc3200 (if it can step down to 2100) sodimm.

Not wanting to spend much at all, as it's old hardware.

I bought two 512mb PC2700 sodimms for a laptop before they changed their mind. Both are still in the packs, just make sure they are compatible with your computer as I know some older machines are a bit finicky.
