Re: realMyst crashing after playing the game for a bit.

I know, but you will rarely load your PSU all the way and if you dont have the money to buy one right away you are SOL.

That is why I am sayinf be careful with that thing.

Dissembled i got to thinking. The original Myst for Windows 95 required QuickTime. So I'm think if i install the latest QuickTime I'll have my problem fixed or not. I'm just not sure about this one. Will that fix my problem or not?

Do you have and/or play any other newer games at all that are fairly graphically intense? Can you play those for hours at a time without any problems?

If Quicktime was not properly installed on your machine, I would think the game wouldn't even start for you in the first place.

For some reason realMyst is crashing after I start to play the game. Right before it crashes I'll be walking outside around the buildings then the game will slow down a bit and then crash. Then I'll be in that one building were you see that person talking to you from in a book. I'll go to drag that file in to the book and then realMyst crashes before I see the person in the book.

Probably not enough juice going to the video card or your overcloack is too much.
