Actually this one is not AT&T's fault... In order to comply with fair competition rules, the FCC has forced AT&T to treat ADSL/POTS and U-verse as if they are two separate companies... They may not collaborate on pricing, etc. They must have separate techs, tech support, sales, etc. And fair to whom, you might ask... the Cable TV providers. Since U-verse is doing TV, they have to compete just like they are a cable TV company...
