 | Buffalo G300N router connection issue with laptop and PPPOE Hi,
I got lan connection which is connected to my buffalo WHR-HP-G300N router and from router the wired connected to my home pc. I also got a laptop. If I have to use internet, I have to login into my home pc then only I can use internet on my laptop and mobile.
The reason is only home pc mac was registered with my subscriber.. so I have registered my router mac id with my subscriber.. so that I can use PPPOE or using router mac, I login from my laptop
Now the issue is
1. I can view my router information on my laptop under this ip... »192.168.11.1/Status_Router.asp (professional firmware: Firmware: DD-WRT v24SP2-AP-TW (10/25/10) std)
when I am pinging.. the ping works from my pc but same ping shows in my laptop "destination not found".
2. When I am creating pppoe, I have to put my ip address, default gateway which is different from what i have for router but I cant find any place to put that information because if put under Router IP which is under network setup .. its not pinging also made me reset my router to make it work with 192.168.11.1.
3. I have also tried to clone my mac address but still same issue as told in point 1.
I am really frustrated by resetting my router.. I thought its easy. but its not...
Kindly help.
Regards,
Praobs. |

|
 | Hi,
My isp is SSV, they provider internet via lan. Also, my router is 2011 make.
Firmware: DD-WRT v24SP2-MULTI (10/31/11) std Time: 00:05:48 up 5 min, load average: 0.00, 0.13, 0.07..
Also, first point is resolved... that was my mistake..
I have attached the image, in this I want to know, where to put this Wan connection type information when selected pppoe.
