Totally unexpected that white stuff falling right now. Weather forecast says this unwelcome substance could plague my area off and on for the next week or so. 
Need to go buy some more snow shovels.

Then why did I still need to start mowing in February 2011 and keep mowing through December 2011 and, if it were not snowing, that lawn could really use another pass with the mower?! You're getting it all confused here, Howie!
They are saying this will likely continue through Monday and then ...
Next week... a series of stronger and wetter frontal systems will
move across the Pacific northwest... starting around Tuesday. These
weather systems could bring a threat of significant snow to The
Lowlands but the extended computer model solutions are showing a
large amount of variability this morning. The exact track and
strength of the systems that will bring this winter weather threat
are uncertain at this time.

And I bought snow boots this year, too. I thought surely a garage full of snow shovels, de-icer and new boots would send the snow back to Icky!
