I have a Linksys WRT54GS which is wired to several Desktop. I been using the Wifi to connect to my laptop and Android phone until just recently the Wifi was connecting and disconnecting. I upgraded the firmware and it was working good for a few weeks and now it won't connect at all. I tried changing the channels too and it didn't help. If it was me, I would press and hold the reset button on the back of the Router, and then configure it from scratch. Did you set the Router up manually? If not, I always find that a better way.
Unless you have a signal from another source like a cordless phone that is interfering with it. If that could be the case, I would make sure that I have a Dect 6 cordless phone. -- "Is there a 50's Cafe around here"?

reply to mlum My old WRT54G (not S) ran for years and years until one day the wireless radio would just stop working randomly. Reboots of the router fixed it for a while then it re-occurred. It's possible that your wireless radio is simply on the fritz. -- My Gallery Formerly Nezmo
After I posted about my wifi problem it started working for a week without me doing anything to the router. This morning I have no wifi connection. Must be time for a new router.
