Saginaw, MI | [Wireless] do i need a repeater? I want to send a wifi signal from my basement to the upstairs in order to stream HD (MKV) files from my PC (in the basement, where my cable modem and router is) to my XBMC box (hacked ATV, wired) and also wanna hook up my Xbox 360 (also wired, no wifi in it). I have a Linksys E4200, Linksys E3000 and (2) Netgear WNDR3300's.....I'm wondering if I'll need a repeater to get optimal bandwidth from the basement to the location of my setup upstairs...i'm guessing it'll be more of try and see what works, I'm just asking for suggestions on how to get everything configured and setup...also, I'm not opposed to buying a range extender; if I need a range extender, what one(s) should I get?
