 | [HN7000S] DNS Acceleration[N] I've had red Xs in DNS Acceleration[N] for the last 10 hours straight. Browsing has been terrible for me for about five days now...I don't get web page errors, it's just incredibly slow, 2kB/s slow. I get the red Xs whether I'm doing anything on the internet or not. Anyone else having this problem?
I'm on 113W, 1150, 67.142.148.152 |

grohgregDunno. Ask The Chief join:2001-07-05 Dawson Springs, KY | The [N] indicates the modem categorizes the diagnostic as a problem at the NOC. Weekend maintenance would be my suspicion. Unless there are other red Xs displayed concurrently, a temporary solution is to use a public DNS server: »techpp.com/2010/08/25/free-fast-···ip-list/ If you know how, check the geoloco of the address, and select one that's closest to your NOC

 | reply to JKur We are having the same issues here where I am. Terrible speeds, both up and down and intermitten DNS issues at all times this weekend. I suspect the NOC. |

 | reply to JKur I am also on 113 West 990 MHz 67.142.142.208
Same issues as you are having. Suspect the NOC. |

 | reply to JKur Yeah, service is really in the toilet here tonight. |

 | After talking with Hughes technical support, there appears to some unknown issue at the NOC causing this and Hughes is investigating it. In the meantime, we have very unreliable service. I would switch to the new system being rolled out with Viasat immediately if it was available here. Hughes better get there stuff right, competition is building. And their new 5mpbs and 12mpbs systems are very attractive. |
