| [CATV] [Chicago] Fox Signal Question for the engineering guys before I setup a service call.
This weekend I was having a lot of trouble watching the Fox football games in HD (channel 612 here) as the picture kept breaking up and sound dropping. Saturday I couldn't even pickup the signal while Sunday I got a signal but it would break up every minute or so. As you can imagine, very frustrating. I did some investigating on my TiVo and found that all channels were getting 90+ signal strength and 29+ SnR except for Fox and the local PBS (channel 611) which were at around 25-30 signal and 27 SnR. Was this a local issue, or something specific to me that needs a service call. |

Allentown, PA | I was having the same issues here in the Lehigh Valley for the football game on Sunday Night. I feel it's more Fox than RCN in my opinion for the game stuttering. As for the Saturday issues you had, that seems more like a RCN thing. |

How about posting the TSN # re: Sat issues?
TSN is the TiVo Service number. It identifies your box on the network, and the guys can take a look for you

I would blame Fox, but I was having the same issue with my local PBS station as well.

kudos:10 | I don't think this was a RCN issue but a provider issue, Comcast seemed to have the same problem as well.. We are digging into it.

Today the two channels (611 and 612) cannot be tuned on either tuner. Saturday was no signal. Sunday was weak signal. Today is no signal again. With all due respect, this doesn't seem to be a Fox issue. |

Want to provide a quick update. Yesterday I was having the same issue but today it appears everything has been fixed. The channel tunes fine and my signal strength is back in line with other channels. Big thanks. |
