Re: voting.. Sadly, intelligence isn't a requirement of voting. That is the only reason that I can think of that explains why you had/have congressmen in office for 20 plus years. The zombie voter goes in, votes his party, then goes home. While at home rants about how bad congress is doing, but when election time hits again, pulls his zombie act.
Until the voters stop voting like zombies and keep the same bums in office, the government will never change.

| Not necessarily "zombie" voters but more gerrymandering. These guys are in safe districts and know it. Just fixing that, could probably eliminate a lot of the corruption and corporate bribes. Think about it, these guys would actually have to work to get reelected. What a concept. |
