That is the one and only thing that will stop them...for a while. Not really, the thing that stops Washington politicians is the threat of funding their Opponents' campaigns, and following through with that funding. Increase the difficulty of their reelection exponentially every election cycle, they work to make their districts "safe", and throw a wrench into those efforts. Target several of them each cycle, not all of them at once. Target a couple of the high profile politicians who push this crap. Make them fear losing their jobs for supporting this stuff. |
