| [Windsor] Upload speeds suck at the moment I am experiencing upload speeds that are truly intolerable at the moment. Running cogeco's speedtests, I have received normal download speeds (13000 kbps - 14500 kbps), but upload speeds ranging from only 50 kbps to just over 300 kbps for the past 10 minutes or so.
I'm not doing any file sharing - just saw a very noticeable slowdown and ran the speed tests in response.
Can anyone suggest a reason for this slowdown?
Edit: Upload speeds have improved since posting, but they are still in the range of 700-800 kbps, which is 20-30% lower than normal. |

| hi jeisenberg. i'm assuming you've gone through all the normal trouble shooting. virus scan, malware scan, direct connect to comp, no router, secure router connection, powered down the modem and comp. have you done a speed test at another site? traceroute? |

Windsor, ON | Yes to almost all these questions (did not speed test from another site, because I wanted to compare apples to apples on each test).
It appears the speed test issues were isolated to a short period of time. |
