I am new to Directv and quite surprised by the amount of shopping channels. Is there an easy way to kill these channels so I do not have to see them in the program guide?
On the remote; Yellow Button, Favorites, and Setup Custom 1... It will take a little while to set it up but you can add/delete whatever channels you want into your own custom guide. -- Words of advice for today... "Be Happy, Drink Coffee, Drive Safe!"

reply to simiglen You may want to keep a hard copy list of your Favorite Channels somewhere in case your receiver dies and needs to be replaced, necessitating inputting those channels again.
