| BK has the Worst. Fries. Ever. I haven't bought their food since the 1990s. Someone at a client had me try some of their fries not long ago...even worse than I remembered. And, just looking at their fries on the new commercials makes me cringe...fries are not supposed to look fuzzy in HD.

| Been a long while since I fast-fooded, don't do it much at all these days.
I do occasionally go to BK for the double hamburger (not the expensive whopper), and find it is really good. Can't speak for the fries at all.
Way back when it was McD's fries, Wendy's Shakes, BK brugers, Popeye's biscuits, Chick-FilA's sweet tea ...
no idea what is what anymore ... the only place I would still avoid is Arby's plastic beef.

I have to admit, when I want fries, I either cook my own or go to McDonalds. I've even bee known to go to McDonalds for fries, and BK for the whopper.

If BK were closer, I'd give delivery a shot. McD's and Wendy's are the only two close by so a little tired of those two options.
BUT Wendy's new fries are really good - better than McD's now, no doubt...

| There are only 4 BKs left in the District (5 if you include the one at Bolling). None are particularly convenient to me in Dupont Circle. Once upon a time there was one a block away. I seldom went and it closed not long after the last time I set foot in there in 1998...and I only was with someone who just had to buy there. I tried a fry and it was horrid. The only Wendy's we have is clear across town...not worth a schlep but I occasionally am in that neighborhood. If I have a fast food jones, Mickey D's is down on M Street or over on 17th & Corcoran...usually I don't have the time to take the 10 minute walk to either so I just forget about it and eat something better for me out of the kitchen.
