Re: people not following along due to replies to one person.

What can be annoying is people who make OPs that, due to the verbiage used, are confusing and don't make obvious sense. Another thing that can be annoying is when non members come here, post an "emergency, I need your help NOW!" and then they never return to read anything, even after people go through great trouble to answer and try and help, sometimes putting in a lot of effort. I know there have been times I felt anonymous posting made the site less desirable, but I realize that the operators here know the pitfalls and have considered them.

I think what can also be annoying is people posting a thread title as though they've got useful information, when it is actually a question, sometimes a dumb question. Example, if you will: "SATA is obsolete" when what they are actually posting is "when will SATA be obsolete". And people who don't know the difference between "to" "two" and "too" (and other homonyms such as there, their, and they're).

Jason_m didn't pose his OP adequately, and THAT can be the source of annoyance, too.

But, well, "can we all just get along" is the operative, in the end...
