Bandwidth limiting on DIR 625 router

Is there a way to cap the bandwidth on the wireless on my router?

My roommate has been hogging all of it. Right now we're on a 15/1 mbps cable and I've been looking for a way to drop down our wireless bandwidth to 7/0.5.

Thanks

These routers don't have any band width limiting options however you could put him and your other device(s) in the QoS and set up a rule for him alone and put his priority say 200 or 255. Then your PC could be set for 1.

You need to set up reserved IP addresses on the router for ALL devices.

QoS - Local IP address range From and To boxes are his IP address the router you've reserved for his PC. Same for your PC on diff rule. The Protocol is set to ANY. Remote IP address From and To boxes leave at default, 0.0.0.0 and 255.255.255.255.

Do this for your PC and his, just change the priority for his to 200-255 and set your PC rule for 1 thru 10.

Save settings and reboot router.

See how this goes.
