1955 Chevys - my favorites..
Baby Blue is tricked out with a 502 C.I. crate motor, 6 speed transmission, 9" Ford Detroit locker rear end and (as the observant rodder might guess) mini-tubbed to take the tires. |

1 edit | My first car was a Yellow and white '55 Bel Air 2 dr sedan. It had a 6 cyl Powerglide. I split the manifold and hung cherry bombs on the exhaust. It sounded pretty good. Unfortunately I totaled it.
My second was also a yellow and white '55 Bel Air. It had a 265 2bbl Powerglide that I replaced with a rebuilt small block stock car engine, close ratio 4 speed, 4.11 differential, set of headers and it sounded and ran great.. |
