| [Equipment] Preview + Sling box. Good or Bad? Chicago, IL Currently have a premiere with rcn in chicago along with a netbook running xp and tivo desktop.
I am highly considering trading up for the new bundle but have some reservations. Ideally id like to be capable of watching my recordings on my galaxy nexus without having to transfer them on tivo desktop.
Basically im happy with my current set up. I just hate how large the file sizes are when streaming to my netbook. HD would take forever so some season passes i deliberately record in SD.
I just want to be able to watch my recordings in another room,not on the go...and not have to buy a tv. The display size is perfect on my nexus for watching shows in bed.
Maybe getting the preview and sling is my only option! |
