I've given up trying to get it to work. POS. I wonder if CV even tried it with XP.

Same question, model, brand. Ram., processor, service quality?

intel core duo 2 ghz
windows xp 3 gb ram
ool 15/2 service
takes about 20 secs to start playing after buffering
not choppy

dont go overboard trying to break the external display detection.. they just sent an email to testers saying they will be working on improving the check so it doesnt give false positives as much, so dont waste your time trying to break it since they are still working on that detection and anything you do find will get patched probably when the release their next update which will include dvr recording ability and the ability to change your actual box's channel with a remote in the app among some updates...

based on the notice, dont expect this to go public any time soon...

Uninstall Silverlight and let the CV program reinstall it.

I just wish the app didn't go into full screen mode. It would be nice if I could resize the app so that just the smaller video player was running so that I can watch it while doing other things on the computer.

What is really annoying is that this landing page is available with a simple search.

Did I miss the part where they say it won't work for you unless you are invited or until the go live date?

I went through the tests and install, and everything is fine until you log into the app. Really Stupid.

BTW, I called support, and they said this is going to be active on Feb 9.

Silverlight *IS* installed

I'm on a Mac. It just works.

My PC works fine. It's Optimum's app that's crap.

yeah ok I have a quad core 2011 dell XPS

It also works on my older 32-bit MacBook Pro (Intel Core Duo). I should try it on my almost 8 year old Dell XPS laptop to see if it works, just to see if it works on the Ballmer Operating System.
