In other news, Arch Linux adopts Linux 3.2 kernel.

Seems confusing. Why does each developer have their own key?

I believe they are actually sub-keys of master keys. Each developer has his/her own so that when someone submits a packsge, you know exactly who did it.

Well, I know next to nothing about how encryption works. I like how yum or zypper, asks (y/n) do you trust the key used by the repo. This works to stop someone from compromising one of the mirrors used to host the packages.

I do appreciate the added security though.
