| Not usually; they have to do some work at the CO before you'll be able to activate anything. You can plug the modem in and see if it syncs; if that happens you MIGHT be able to call them and get it turned up before that date. Don't count on it though. |

Don't forget to add the filters to the phones.
One can also try to plug the DSL modem into the box to see if makes any differences in download speeds.

I was told one time it would take like a week for it to be reprovisioned, noticed one day i had the internet light on....
i provisioned my dsl about 5 days prior to when i was supposed to be turned on, it was extremely slow if you could even bring up a webpage after i did that. unfortunately it takes a while |
