 | Is it legal? I recently purchased a Intel 4965AGN WiFi mini card for my Dell Vostro 1500 Laptop. The card I was sent was the European/Middle East version, and only supports 4 channels in the 5GHz range. It has no FCC markings like the North American version should, so is it even legal to use this card in the United States? The card is technically not defective, so I'm trying to find justification to return it and still qualify for a full refund. |

| Tell Amazon the card is not for the USA and you need to get a card that is. Just like you told us. Amazon has been decent with me about returns of items as long as I clearly and in detail explain why the part will not work for me. But it does take some time to get return authorization. You have to be patient and give them at least a week to investigate your claims justifying the return. |

The process is very straight forward and I found it to be efficient and fast. And davidhoffman recommendation is 100% correct. -- David Mozer IT-Expert on Call Information Technology for Home and Business |

I Second that as well, never had an issue with Amazon no matter who you purchase an item with. |
