| COD MW3 Classes So, the game has been out a little better than 2 months now. I havent seen anything that can be as exploited (One Man Army - MW2, Ghost - Black Ops) like the previous games. The only two things that still need to be balances are the akimbo FMGs, and the striker (or at least make the other shotguns a little better)
What classes are you using?
Here are the big 3 that I use most of the time.
1. ACR - 2 Attachments (silencer, red dot) Slight of Hand Assassin Dead Silence Secondary - Dual FMG Support - Advanced UAV, Bomber, EMP
2. MP7 - 2 Attachments (silencer, extended mags) Slight of Hand Hardline Steady Aim Specialst Killstreams Secondary - Silenced 5/7
3. Scar -Kick, with the noob tube Slight of Hand Blast Shield Steady Aim Assault - Predator, Reaper, AC130. Secondary - Javelin (much fun sometimes)
I have a few other classes...riot shield class, blind eye/stinger class (everyone should have at least one)
I generally run with a crew. About a 1.5 K/D, and a 10.5 W/L
Any good recommendations?!?!?! |

| I always run with Semtex (great for riot shields) and EMP's (great for IMS, Recon Drones, etc).
K/D ratio is 1.24, W/L ratio is 0.74. I play with 1-2 buddies, but we don't play a team game and coupled with the other randoms who go 0-16 we usually end up losing most matches. Wish the W/L was higher as the match bonus is huge in leveling quicker.
I've always been a stalker in previous CoD games, but with the small maps and tight corners in MW3 I've turned into a run and gunner. Before MW3 I never touched any weapon besides an AR, now I rarely use anything else besides my SMG. The rate of fire on weapons is so important in this game.
As much as people say MW3 is the same game as previous games, it's totally different for me with the focus on close range combat. Although refreshing, I prefer my AR's from previous games.
I also love the specialist.
SMG: PP90M1 - Range - Extended Mags Stinger Semtex - EMP Sight of Hand Assassin Steady Aim Specialist - Hardline, Scavenger, Sitrep
Assault: ACR - Kick - Silencer Stinger Semtex - EMP Sight of Hand Assassin Steady Aim* Specialist - Hardline, Scavenger, Stalker* *Occasionally switch up Steady Aim and Stalker
Assault: G36C - Focus - Silencer Stinger Semtex - EMP Sight of Hand Assassin Steady Aim* Specialist - Hardline, Scavenger, Stalker* *Occasionally switch up Steady Aim and Stalker
Shotgun: Striker - Range - Extended Mags Stinger Semtex - EMP Sight of Hand Assassin Steady Aim Assault - UAV, Care Package, Predator Missile |

Also, +1 for running a stinger on all classes. Win on that. |

| reply to baineschile I have 3 ACR Kick/Silencer specs - varying from support/assault and ti/smoke and frag. Steady aim isn't good for a rifle.
I have 2 mp7 kick/silencer specs - varying from support/specialist with TI and frag.
I change em from time to time, normal support is sam/stealth/emp but been messing around with a lot of variations. -- Here's the final bullet, to put our love to death. |

| @ baineschile : I like running and gunning and with the amount of UAV's out there I'd be a lame duck without Assassin.
said by JB:Steady aim isn't good for a rifle. I highly disagree with that, especially with most maps focused on close quarter combat. While unlike SMG's where Steady Aim is necessary, Steady Aim still provides usefulness to the rifles.
In a close quarter situation if you zoom in to ADS by the time you're able to shoot, you're dead. Most rifles have horrible hip fire so if you try that, while you're missing shots you're dead. If you ADS around corners while you may get lucky to initially be on him, it's a lot quicker to aim and hip fire then it is in ADS.
Guns like the AK especially have horrible hip fire accuracy. If you kill someone with the AK without Steady Aim with hip fire you either got very lucky, or the opponent was very bad.
Steady Aim definitely isn't necessary, but it definitely has its uses depending on your play style. |
