Re: Teaching respect for ipBy getting media for free and bragging about it. Just the fact they get it free is noticed by students so they figure if the teacher can do it, why cant I? |

What do you mean? What stretch? It's a logical conclusion based on years of studying this problem.
Thats just the tip o the iceberg, since pirating has legs of its own now. |

there is nothing wrong with giving kickbacks to schools for picking the products. You seem to have a vendetta against people who manage to get a better deal than you. |

You are wrong again, I have no vendetta for anyone. You are not worth arguing with as you dont make any sence and try to put words or actions twords me which arent applicable. If you have something intelligent to post, I might reply, but I doubt it. Byeeeeee |

you said, "They have no respect for ip, cause they can get it free." then you went on to say, " No I am not talking about text books that school boards get kickbacks for ." You still never elaborated to your original point.
I see nothing wrong with the school getting a kickback for signing up with a publisher.
Teachers respect IP, they watch for plagiarism all the time. |

said by ArrayList:Teachers respect IP, they watch for plagiarism all the time. Ok, I'll bite on this one. Watching for plagiarism while at the same time bragging about how they can get media free is hypocritical which makes it even easier for children to decide to pirate. |

Watching for plagiarism while at the same time bragging about how they can get media free. I have never seen a teacher brag about getting media free. If anything they get it as part of their job. Many professionals in the IT sector get software free as part of their job. It's an occupational bonus. Nothing wrong with it. |
