My Loving and precious Kitty MISSY has left this life. I loved her so much and shared our lives for 17+ years. She kept me sane in the hard times and happy every day to have her with me. She yacked at me when I was late or not home all day. She slept in my Arms at night snuggling against my neck and shoulder. A sweeter and loving careing Kitty could not be found for me.

Complications from diabetes and 36 hours in the ICU home for 24 hours and going Blind and Deaf along with other problems with more to come made her quality of life unfair to allow just for my emotions to be soothed.

She is gone lost to the world and I feel empty at the end she was in my arms and it was like she was sleeping she looked at peace my heart is breaking but I know it was for the best. But still I wish it was not really happening.

I hope that like all of the creatures on Gods earth something survives after Life here is over.

Sleep Well My Lovely Kitty I will hold you dear and love you forever.

My Heart is BROKEN

PS:
She was far prettier than my poor pictures show. I lost all of her other photos with a hard drive crash.

Hank, we are so sorry for your loss. Be comforted in the pleasant times you had together and know that Missy had the best friend she could have in you..

You should be secure in the knowledge that you had the love and courage to do what was best for her.

I truly feel your heartbreak and sadness. As you know I too have experienced an unfair share of kitty loss in the recent past. I don't need to tell you how much it sucks, but I can tell you that I share your loss, your pain, and that horrible emptiness that comes with the death of a pet. You are not alone in your loss.

It's so sad to hear that you also lost many of your pictures of your cat as well. I'm so sorry. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers. (as will your precious kitty.. she was a very pretty girl)

Take care,

Rich

Sorry to hear about your loss of a companion.
It sounds like you two had a good long time together though.

It's somewhat thought-provoking to me however as several folks have lost a furry buddy recently, and just recently I got a new one after not having a pet for years after my previous cat passed.

Sort of like a ying/yang of pets eh?

Sadly, in less than two weeks I'll be forced to give up both my cats as the area I'm moving to does not allow pets. I intend working to change that once I'm settled in, but at least my vet has found a good home for one of them (a wonderful 7-year old female Cornish Rex) and the other one (a 16-year old male standard issue but quite handsome male tabby) will be given a genuine shot at being adopted due to that same vet being on the board of directors for the shelter I'm placing him with.

Scelli it is hard to give up a furry friend either in passing or to another home neither choice is easy.

A friend of mine hearing of Missy's passing has asked me to give a new home to a kitty. I said I would be glad to have her move in this will give my 11 year old kitty a new friend after a period of adjustment I am sure RG will welcome another companion to share our home with.

I'm so sorry for your loss; I've been there (as many of us have) and know how even years later we feel it keenly. Brings home how our photography can act as a memorial and a lasting legacy!

She's a beautiful tabby. We have a red one and they are just the most adorable cats with such distinct personalities. Mine loves to hop up on the computer desk and help me type. Because I'm disabled her and I spend a lot of time together and I don't even want to contemplate her being gone.

My sincere condolences.

Agreed. Mine is kinda mellow and doesn't get on things or like being picked up and stuff. But she's always around.

Right now she's curled up in her fave spot on the end of the bed about two feet away. She could sleep anywhere, but chooses to be nearby.

Living alone and on SSI, it's really comforting just to have her here.

Missy loved to cuddle, slept in my arms at night and was with me constantly by her own choice.

I was at home a lot so we were together almost all the time.

She always greeted strangers and guests like long lost family. Gently greeting them with a peep or soft meow and a PURR that would melt your heart.
