[IL] Southern IL HSI slow?

speeds are not bad now......but the rest is pretty ugly

not good at all..I am on my DSL connection now and thigs are nice and zippy

but this is rough.....I chgecked it when I was hooked direct getting the modem stats

woke up this morning and the modem has lost sync, even power cycle will not re sync it

Could be some signal issues or something with the modem. Not seeing anything listed in the area. If you want to PM me your telephone# or MAC address I can take a look.

Chad actually serves as an intermediary to the local tech supervisors. I've done it both ways and as far as I can tell there was no real difference in the response times or the outcomes.

Pretty sure it is a Mediacom System issue and not an issue in my home....looking better today but ping is still high

Also got a calll from Mediacom today. the outtage 2 nights ago was about a block from me......again no issues until the outtage.......looking alot better tonight soi far

wow yours are terrible........bad thing about cable is it is a shared resource....as day goes on more people get on and slower speeds.......mine was rock solid up until the outtage.......right now...5 PM speeds are good but ping is high

I'm in Waterloo IA and have had the same problems for over a week.
Spend most of my time using speedtest.net..getting frustrated :/

Yeah, getting to where it is only usable for browsing. forget streaming anything. Has to be too many people on, as I can tell that it is fine first thing in morning.

Exactly, I've been trying to navigate youtube via G+ and haven't been able to stream anything in 1080p in a while.
I called tech support and they just say "we are working on some upgrades for your area". Which really doesn't tell me much.
