Need U-verse or highspeed internet in my area

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right page but I would like to know what has to be done for my area to have u-verse connection instead of the typical dsl connection. I am not a At&t customer but I would do anything to change my ISP provider now which is ygnition. Ygnition is just pure failure for me and bad, really bad customer service. I moved in to this new apartment in augusta apartments in Hurst, TX 76053 this new year and told me they only have Ygnition as the only internet provider and that just pisses me off.

I play online games with my xbox360 and everytime I play, I have to wired to my wireless router and make sure other people in the house does not use the internet, not even browse the net. With this, I still suffer with gaming experience. Ping is really bad and they promised a 7-10mbps for 50$/month but I never really had it. Just 2mbps was the highest i have seen. I have complained online, phone and they send me a tech which did some testing and told me that he did everything in his end but the network engineers needs to configure most the network. Its been 2 weeks but no changes at all. Im really pissed right now and wanted to cancel my ISP but I have no other option.

I called At&t and told me u-verse is not available in area. Only slow dsl which is 1.5mbps and I dont think thats going to satisfy me needs. They said something about low signal in my area that why it is not possible.

I am asking for help or advice on what to do because I am wasting 50$/month on this ygnition bs service.

Well, you got no choice. you can stay with them or go with At&t. Im sure that AT&T can provide better quality of service than Ygnition.
