Wanted to let y'all know charter rolled out a line tech and obviously got it fixed, MER (SNR) is now anywhere from 37-40 and the service is working great, just slows a little during prime time but I can live with it, now I just can't wait till 30/4 is available here, 20/3 is the max that can be offered as of now |

funny Charter put one on our box outside so yes sometimes amps are necessary. Likely what was put in was not an "AMP" but an 8-way no loss splitter. Which is commonly referred to as an "Amp" to keep from explaining a No Loss. |

Not larg enough for that and the fact it says AMP on it. Do I have to take a picture and post it? |

The cbale going into the top comes from the pole the cable coming from the bottom goes to the box on the outside of the house. |

| That's an AMP CERTI-SEAL plastic cover for a barrel coupling connecting two coax cables together.
