Hidden Price Increase?

My notice of this price increase was an email in my spam box from "no reply" and titled, "immediate attention required." In short, it looked just like a whole bunch of spam scams and I nearly ignored it.

Is that what MJ wanted so I'd miss the savings deadline? Then, if I protested a 50%+ increase, they could say, well, we told you?

What about it, MJ. Don't you have a copywriter who can communicate clearly...if that's what you wanted to do?

So YOUR spam filter caught the MJ ad and MJ is to blame? Hmmmmmmmmmmm ok. So I assume my fork is to blame for me being fat??

YEAH that's the ticket... Damn silverware companies not able to communicate well and made me 50% fatter.. I think I will sue...

This is a rip. I have the old paperwork and my packaging. They warrant $20/year after purchase.

Yes and Gas, Food, Clothes, Rent, Insurance, ETC. NEVER go up in price, correct?
After your "warranty" with MJ expires and you have to renew, they pretty much can set whatever price the market will bear. Up to us, as consumers, if we are willing to pay that price or look elsewhere. That is the free market. If no one renews then MJ goes out of business, simple as that....
Of course you can start your own VOIP company and charge $20 a year for life no matter what your expenses and R&D are. Let us know when it is available...

I find it hard to believe that a company could set a price they can comfortably make a profit on and suddenly need to increase it by 50%. Of course, there are corporate-minded assholes out there ready to defend this, but they are the types destroying our country anyway. What the market can bear? OK, sometimes when you push too far the results are very unpleasant. Greedy children in candy stores grab up more and more until their overfilled hands drop it all.

I just never understand why such serious-thinking individuals, such as yourself, don't start their own company and sell us phone service for $10 a year. Quit being greedy with your time and your money and start that company soon please. I renewed my year for $20 back in October, so if you could do so before this October I would appreciate it. I would hate to have to pay $30 for a full year of phone service, Hurry please.

I take it serious. I am a corporate-minded a'hole and proud of it. If setting up companies like this was easy we would all do it. When these small business owners start out they usually spend every penny they have, mortgage their houses and lives, and usually still have to borrow money from friends and relatives for years.

If they are lucky they will not lose everything. If they are extremely lucky they will make money and take their company public like Dan. So when someone makes a ton of money for taking ALL the risks, I am happy for them. Certainly is easier though to sit at home, play video games all day, and complain about $30 a year phone service when you could easily pay that much, or more, a month elsewhere.

I meant the calling me MR a`hole.....
The rest of the stuff I agree with you 110%

Thats why when people bitch about Dan buy this mansion or that mansion, I say GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! He can spend all HIS money on packing peanuts for all I care.. Good for him and anyone else who makes it in this country, ESPECIALLY these days with certain people currently in charge!!

Maybe now they can provide service to all the phone numbers in the U.S. and not like before where i can not make calls to small towns that want to charge extra to MJ for a connection.
