My On Demand freezes up and won't work. I have had Wow out twice now.An error code (E204) comes up. They have replaced the dvr twice and it works when they test it but then next time we go to use it it is frozen again and the code comes up. Bad connection somewhere? Any ideas?
204 error is usually a signal issue. Check page 4 in the diagnostics and see if your getting an ip and on page 5 what are your levels and snr?
Hit the select button and hold it down untill the mail light flashes. When you see the mail light hit info. Then use the volume buttons to advance to page 4 and 5.
reply to Harvey e204 is an error stating the box has no return path back to the head end. This is almost always an issue with a bad splitter/cable in the home, or can be caused by running your coaxial lines through something like a surge protector or a VCR. A technician visit would be required to continue to troubleshoot an issue like this.
