I have an OpenSuse 11.3 computer running Samba hosting file shares and a printer.
Prior to installing some updates from OpenSuse today my two Windows 7 computers, two Linux computers Zorin 5.0 and Ubuntu 10.10 could access the files shares and printer on the OpenSuse 11.3 computer.
However now they can only access the shares and can not print to the printer.
I've deleted the printer from the two Windows computers and 2 Linux computers and they re-installed fine. However I still can not print from the client computers. However if I disable the firewall they print fine.
In the firewall I do have the Samba services allowed for external
- Netbios server - Samba Client - Samba Server
I also changed my Linux clients from Samba printing to CUPS but again they could only print if I disable the firewall....
I was going to allow CUPS services for port 631 in the firewall but I do not see CUPS liested for services to allow
Any ideas on how I can restore my printing to the clients? I'm able to print fine from the OpenSuse computer with the firewall enabled....
Thanks |
