| Anyone here use the Sprint Samsung Conquer? I've got an old Samsung Moment, it still works but had it a few years and looking for something a bit newer.
I don't need a super large screen, the Conquer has the same size screen as the Moment, was wondering if anyone here had experience with the Conquer?
The reviews looked about average, mostly complaints of battery life, which is pretty typical of the Android phones I and friends have.
Sprint has the Conquer on sale for $49.00 with a buy one get one, so a friend needs one two so thought we'd go in together.
Worse case I figure it's gotta be better than my Moment.

| I don't have any hands on experience with this phone, but it does have slightly better specs compared to the Moment.
The main difference is, it runs version 2.3.4 of the Android OS. It has a 1GHz processor, compared to the 800MHz the Moment uses.
Overall it seems like a decent phone. Do you plan to utilize ROMs or customize the OS at all?

That phone is really a generation behind, even though it's new. It most likely won't even see the ICS update. There is a very very small community for this phone. So there wouldn't be very many ROMs if any at all.
If none of that concerns you, then I would say go for it.

| Just wanted to follow up, I've had the Conquer now for a little over a month and it rocks.
It is a LOT faster than my old Samsung Moment, it's got 2.3.4, which I know isn't the absolute latest version, but it is about the most common at this time. Phone is nice, signal is nice, it really is fast, anyway, for the price it can't be beat.
