[TV] Channels in the "MeTV" package?

My parents were recently forced to "upgrade" to digital cable (they got a letter from Rogers saying analog was going to be turned off in their area).. Rogers claimed that they'd keep all their channels, with no additional cost.

But this is Rogers were talking about..

After getting the digital converter, they noticed several channels were missing. Rogers claims they were never supposed to have those channels in the first place.

So I'm wondering.. which channels are supposed to be included with the old "MeTV" pack? I can't find any reference to that on the Rogers website anymore..

Rogers Toronto/Peel Cable Channel Line-up (Effective Sept. 30, 1998)
This may be a little out of date.

First of all, there is no "old" metv pack. What you were privileged to receive for free was basic+ultimate, and you were paying for basic+metv.

It's a digital adaptor. They are free. You have to pay if you don't return it to us when you cancel that's the only charges for it ($5 for not returning remote, $5 for not returning the power adaptor, $40 for not returning the adaptor itself).

Rogers is starting the phase-out of analog cable because they want the bandwidth to provide better services such as faster internet (upload & download, as those who post here want), more hd channels, better picture quality for sd & hd channels.

As for the channel numbers you should be receiving below are said channel numbers for Toronto.

Basic is 2-28, 59-71
Basic + Combo 2-43, 59-71
Basic + MeTv 2-28, 44-71
Basic + Origonal (select) don't remember, but its a hybrid
Basic + Ultimate 2-71
