| [Windows] How do I used iPerf in Windows 7? I see that iperf seems to be a linux app? Is there anything I can use to compare my home network over wireless versus over powerline? I am getting a pair of EoP devices and I want to see how it helps my bandwidth over wireless, which gets only about 30Mbps each direction, so 60-70 total. But that is running speedtest.net, not testing my internal network by itself.
Can I use iperf in Win7, and how do I use it, how do I run it, set it up? -- Join Teams Helix and Discovery. Rest in Peace, Leonard David Smith, my best friend, you are missed badly! Rest in peace, Pop, glad our last years were good. Please pray for Colin, he has ependymoma, a brain cancer, donate to a children's Hospital. |

| Open a command prompt (start menu->run, then enter "cmd")
You can run it from there. If you right click on the directory it is copied to, there might be a "command prompt here" option. There is no installation IIRC.
run it with the -h option and it will tell you the commands. -- Scott Henion

I tried running a command window, but the directory I saved it to uses "&&" characters for the directory name, and the command window did not like that. |

 | reply to signmeuptoo Try this -- »code.google.com/p/xjperf/
Windows functionality and no messing with CLI command switches.
