| Just ordered contagion in 1080p. Picture Quality is amazing.
There is also a shaw website that is referenced in the first clip.

This is sort of interesting. Setting the gateway to 1080p previously caused very bad pausing/stuttering playback.
Will have to give this a try. Hopefully playing back recorded shows at 1080p works correctly now. |

| This is only for vod, not broadcast. There isn't anything broadcasted in 1080p.
The settings should be set on your portals to 1080i, 1080p 24 hz and 1080p 30 hz.
When watching anything that is recorded or live that will use 1080i, and vod content that states 1080p will utilize that resolution.
The freezing and jittering only happened if you set the portals to only 1080p. It doesn't handle down converting to 1080i or 720p correctly. Up converting has no issues. |

It says this on the Shaw site:
1. Within the SETTINGS menu, select TV SETUP.
2. Select 1080p, 1080p 24Hz and 1080p 30Hz.
3. Select CLOSE to exit the set up

Setting to those settings before did cause issues, Shaw TSR's said to never set it any higher then 1080i. |

| Its a typo on the webpage. The video at the bottom of the page shows in great deal how to se it.
Tech's and tsr's are told not to set the resolution for 1080p only. This causes the freezing nd stuttering issue. When you set all three it works just fine. |
