Re: Hey Squirt? We get a carton of 12 tins sent from Britain | | Oooooh! Pretty bling-bling! :) |
We just polished off the last of the tins of Quality Street Assorteds.
After heck-only-knows how many kilos were served to family and guests, everyone is happy, but is content to see them go away again until next fall.
I must admit that I will admit that I will mourn the last of the toffee pennies, though... -- "Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crispy and good with catsup." |

Be careful what you ask for! I brought some toffees home with me from England (not this brand) about 10 years ago and the next thing I knew we were taking my husband to the dentist. First chew and an old filling came right out.

| reply to Icarus Yeah, toffee is murder on teeth, but the taste is unique. Praliines and cream ice cream is good (but verbotten to me now that I have learned I am dairy alergic).
This is my current sweet joy:

No dairy and just about the best thing since sliced bread. The flavor explodes, if you can get it, and can dare a little real sugar, this is amazing. -- Join Teams Helix and Discovery.
