Naperville, IL | Error Code E201; Crashing on 8300HD I was trying to order Dog the Bounty Hunter on A&E HD VOD. It worked first on SD, then when I remembered it was in HD, I went to HD On Demand, chose A&E HD, and selected the first one in the list, and said play. It paused on the "Thank you... Enjoy your show" for about 10 seconds, then went back to the VOD menu and said something along the lines of "could not play the video.. try again later... call customer service with error code E201"
I tried to order it again; it showed "Thank you.. enjoy your show" and then crashed (rebooted completely).
Why would it do that? It appears to be working okay for now, but don't want it to continue... Especially since now it is on the 8300HD. My 8642 pulls this kind of stuff (the crashing, not error codes) but not the 8300HD. |

kudos:3 | E201 error code means that the VOD server told the box it was over it's credit limit for PPV/VOD purchases. This doesn't really make much sense, as you were ordering free content, and I reviewed your account and you had $0 in PPV usage for the month. Is this still happening? |

Naperville, IL | I actually wasn't at home; I was with a relative. They also hadn't ordered any VOD this billing cycle. The problem has not continued, but we have not tried it again since that night. |
