This bill was hidden behind the SOPA and PIPA bills. The bill makes you exempt from OT because it makes you an executive or removed from the law's protection.
You cannot get any OT for hours worked. Your limited to 40.
The CPU Act pretty much provides no options.

This is really not cool. I work a lot of overtime in my field. This is terrible.
I think a better way to put it is that it allows for these positions to be except... it does not make them exempt. It's still up to the employer as to if they want to pay a salary or hourly wage to these employees. I'm not saying I agree with it, I'm just pointing out the difference.
