Tekz join:2012-01-21 Fort Dodge, IA | I always get very decent speed in FD. Always just under 12 Mbps down, just under 1 Mbps upload.
I used to get a slightly slower speed when I lived downtown, but since moving out near the high school, it's improved slightly.
I've never had a problem with speed in FD in the last 3 years I've lived here. Downtime, however, has been a problem from time to time. |

Overall it looks pretty decent though. Your downstream received power is pretty hot at the modem (between +12 and +15dB). I know you mentioned your seeing the slow downs in the evenings, but you might want to put a splitter at the modem to bring the power level down a bit. I can also schedule a tech to adjust this if you would like. Shoot me a message if you want to set that up. -- MediacomChad Mediacom Social Media Relations Team »mediacomcable.com/CustomerSupport/ |
