It took 12 minutes and the file is apparently heavily compressed at 4.6GB. Amazon has the same data uncompressed at 13GB. Now the waiting game begins for me.

I had a look at the skill trees, Axton is the one who gets the movement speed boost on kill this time, he actually has quite a lot of nice looking damage increases too. I plan to use Axton for solo, and Zer0 when playing with my friends (at first anyways, plan to max out all the characters ;D)

I got in at 12:10 (stupid patching up) to play for 5 minutes just to see how it is and ended up going to bed at 1:30 or something. The intro is much better, and the game seems to be a lot more humourous (in a good way.) Anyway, it was fun. Too bad I can't play it much this week as I've got a damn exam on Saturday to prepare for.

I've been taking a look a few gameplays on youtube. It seems a lot smoother than the origional Borderlands, theres a few little things that bug me, but I'm sure I'll get over them pretty quick. Zer0 is a badass! The intro when you start a new game... Wow, he was epic (poor little skag though D:).

I'm playing on an Athalon X2 2.6, nVidia GTX260 Overclocked Edition, 4 GB RAM and at 1680x1050 Res. It's very smooth even with mobs. Gearbox optimized the game very well.

I had thought to go down his melee tree, but started out with his cunning tree. However, after a few levels, I'm starting to think I should go down the sniping tree (it has all the actual gun boosts).

Filled most of the motion tree and then added a bit to harmony for the extra health, health regen, healing bullets and revive. I'd love to see what she can do at level 50 in a multiplayer game.
