 | [AB] Telus Throttling Netflix during peak hours? I just got hooked up with telus a few weeks ago. We have the high speed turbo (25mbps) plus optik tv(no phone service). I have noticed from around 12pm to about 9 or 10pm my netflix will not work(stream) on any form of HD and will be stuck on Low/SD. This occurs on my ps3 as well as my computers. When 9pm ish hits the show will immediately jump to X-High HD and look perfect. I have done speed-tests during these times and my speed is around 20mbps which is normal without any tv's on. I have also noticed an issue with online games getting high latency spikes during these hours and disappearing at above said times.(League of Legends, Starcraft2, CoD etc.) I have tried both wireless and wired with computer and ps3 during these times to no avail. Also have created static ip's and port forwarded the proper ports for said games. Also put into dmz to try. I have the Actiontec V1000 Firmware v31.30L.55 Telus Firmware. I have contacted technical support and all they try to do for me is reset everything from their end and tell me to do the usual power cycle, check cords. This does not fix the netflix issue. I hope I have given clear and enough information for someone to help shed some light on this issue.
Thanks,
Ryan |

 | Telus does not throttle anything. Netflix has had issues this last week with congestion. |
