[General] Any chance of expansion to my area?

I live in the Grand Rapids, MI area. Looks like the Clear signal runs out before Belmont which is way to far away to my location in Southern Cedar Springs. I could get Verizon 4G in their "extended service area" but 10 GB a month... please. Anyways I know Sprint and Clear are in partnership so Sprint might want to expand their 4g to compete with VZ. Probably wishful thinking unfortunately..

Two 24db Grid Antennas pointed south towards Grand Rapids might be your only shot .. but doubtful ... furthest setup I have done so far is 6 miles from the tower... But hey worth a shot!

Series G Modem
2 IPX u.fl to F Type pigtails
2 25 ft runs of RG-11 or LMR-400
2 24 db MMDS Grid Antennas Rated at 2500-2700 Mhz
and some LUCK..

Rob

Yeah seems a bit far. I'm hoping they expand their territory.

At this time Clearwire is in the process of installing LTE 4G that is said to be an overlay of the the existing WiMax system. At Clearwire the focusing is now on the wholesale level not retail. Any expansion of the WiMax footprint is very doubtful.
But most likely the WiMax system will be supported at least until 2015. Sprint has been selling 4G WiMax phones with two year contracts. I have not seen anything that indicates if Clearwire will switch WiMax retail customers over to the new LTE system, hopefully they will.

Ugh. Thanks for the info though.
