Re: Port opening on Zywall USG100 Okay you probably did something by turning things off. Suggest you download the latest firmrware, reset to defaults and try again. The best way to check is to get someone you trust to try it on the net from outside your network.

OK, I signed up now, maybe my post will show? I hope..
I turned on logging, didn't show anything.
I access via web browser, diff port than 80, works fine with Netgear router.
Also, I can connect via same method with »interal_ip:port
Anyway, I made original and mapped IP the same, still nothing.
I just successfully forwarded ports for Xbox, so I don't understand the issue for the DVR.
Apparently, while it worked using my external IP in a browser with Netgear, it does not with the Zywall. Tech support for my dvr said she could see the dvr login page OK.
So, this issue is resolved, though I will test externally.
