Tim @cogentco.com | [Equipment] Tranzeo warranty service is horrible We had TRFDD-24 go bad in October 2011. Shipped to Blaine, WA (service depot). Received on 10-31-2011. From that point on, Tranzeo could not tell me where my radio was, when they would get it in Canada, when it could be fixed and returned. As of today 1-24-12, they still have not told me anything. Numerous calls and e-mails have resulted in nothing. I wouldn't buy from them if you expect any kind of reasonable turn-around. Is 3-4 months reasonable turn-around time? |

 | Not reasonable by any means.
Chalk up another reason why I don't ever buy Tranzeo again. |

 | reply to Tim A WISP I worked for had similar experience with Tranzeo. They always had some reason to not fix it under warranty. The costs were always almost the price of a new unit. That WISP has stopped buying Tranzeo as well. |

 | reply to Tim I'm in Vancouver (home of Tranzeo), and Tranzeo is a local joke. People who need proper PTP backhaul use Motorola PTP600 or 800, Ceragon, Ligowave, NEC, etc. People who want PtMP ISP systems for rural areas use either Ubiquiti or Canopy/Cambium. |
