 | reply to ame101 we had that same pbx system at my office and just upgraded to an avaya ip500.
what are you using the pbx for? meaning, is it live or just testing? is that wireless phone connected to the pbx system, as well? |

ame101 join:2002-05-02 Southington, CT | reply to ame101 It's live and working 6 old 18d phones in the house, the cordless is tied into it as well. |
|
 | reply to ame101 Those systems last forever. I just installed an old one that a customer had in their house and wanted moved to their new office. |

Here is a view from the other side. Windows 8 on a touch screen, pirate radio station oh and every office needs a pet snake. |

 | reply to ame101 they are solid, but, in my opinion, you can't compare it to the ip500 from avaya.
i am not a phone tech, just an IT admin that knows the basics of pbx systems and i have done more programming (haha, good programming) on my ip500 in 3 weeks than i have in 5 years on the partner.
having to hover over a phone and listen to prompts....no thanks.
but it is a very solid system. |
