I was confused when I read my recent e-bill from Reliant Energy. I was not confused about the amount, as I have balanced billing, but what happened to the bill due in February?
Amount Due: $206.00
Due Date: 3/12/2012
I called them and was told to pay the bill in February. However, I would expected that they should issue a corrected e-bill. I have not seen a corrected e-bill with the correct due date, yet, and it has been over 24 hours since the original e-bill was send to my email account. I was also told that I was not the only person that had received an e-bill with the incorrect due date.
I have stayed with Reliant Energy (and their previous names) since this house was purchased close to 30 years ago. Never had a problem with billing until now, but the lack of corrected e-billing is very strange.
Anyone else seeing this on a e-bill or a paper bill?--
