Re: Huge Latency (Eastern Georgia) CDLManitou--- The DSLAM you are on is not having any latency issues. I have confirmed this with our Network Analysts. However there is another DSLAM out of the same Central Office that is experiencing latency issues. It is possible that the latency is having a overflow type effect (although extremely unlikely). I have spoken to the Local Manager who is sending a technician out to run some tests from your ONT (NID). If you happen to be home please let me know when the tech is done. Otherwise I will follow up with it later this afternoon or tomorrow morning.
Hoppy43- I just wanted to let you know that there was a Fiber cut in your area over the weekend caused by a construction crew. All broadband traffic has been temporarily rerouted while we repair the fiber. This will cause slow speeds initially, as the fiber is repaired and customer are brought back onto it in phases you should see the speeds stabilize. This will affect the majority (by no means all) customers in Northern Ohio.

1 edit | reply to naspino It looks like the service degraded again about half an hour ago (12:30 a.m EST Feb 12). I got a disconnect, reconnect, and now the speeds are slow. Did something happen again in the Warner Robins, GA area? I was having no issues prior to the disconnect.

Come on guys.
