1 edit | [TiVo] Impluse PPV on your TiVo.. Just a heads up, We have started to ROLL OUT the ability to IMPULSE BUY PPV on your TiVo. Glad to say we are the first company to have this abiilty on the TiVo Product. Now when you want to order the fight or such you don't need to call in any more, just tune to the PPV channel and click to buy.
This has been rolled out in DC and PA, over the next week we will be enabling it in NY and BOSTON and finishing up with Chicago at the end of next week.

Re: Impluse PPV on your TiVo.. Netflix I don't think will happen.. again I'll re-iterate we really want it but we are blocked from putting it on the box due to restrictions from some of the providers that provide NETFLIX with content.
I reach out to them from time to time and ask and I'm always told no

The TiVo implementation of Netflix is pretty lousy. I have my own TiVo and Netflix is pretty close to useless on it.
I have a Roku and an Apple TV hooked up to the same TV, on the same wireless network, and Netflix on those is a pleasant experience with beautiful HD picture and 5-10 second buffer. |

I recently bought a blue ray player with streaming video apps. I can now stream Netflix among others right to my TV. This works great for me. |
