 | [General] 2Wire bridge to 1:1 NAT? I have a couple things I need to sort out. I'm tyring to start using the 5 static IPs that we are rumored to have. I can't get any account info out of anyone though. I know that our 2Wire is in bridge mode and a Syswan router handles the PPPoE login and the login ends with @static.sbcglobal.net
Will 1 to 1 NAT work with AT&T and the 2Wire? How do I find out what my IP addresses are (what is the account website)? I tried to guess that the IPs are less than the IP that the WAN port gets assigned, but so far the NAT isn't working. |

If you do a whois on the public ip address the block will be shown The 2wire can allocate the public ip's, you can also manually assign the public ip's |

1 edit | Thanks. The whois does show I have a block.
Is the last part of your post saying I can just set a static IP on an interface in my network to one of my AT&T IPs?
Edit: Weird, I thought it wasn't working because I can't ping the WAN IP I chose for 1:1 NAT, but I just now tried to connect to a service on that IP and it worked, from outside. OK Neat. |
